THE BOOKS THAT HUGS ME
If you feel that life has slightly derailed for one reason or another, this book will put life into perspective and hopefully put you on track.
Firstly, let me introduce myself, my name is Pete Turner and I’m the one who has put this book together. This was a lockdown project to see if I can help anyone who feels that life is getting them down.
Just to give you a taster, let me say that I’ve not written anything like this before, this gives me the permission to be human.
This book is a bit thin on the ground, often less is more, more dilutes the less.
Also this book is not perfect as no doubt you will find the odd mistake that has gone through the net. My preference is compassion not perfectionism. Making mistakes is better than faking perfection.

Are you guilty of living your life thinking more, the big and the attractive is the answer to solve life problems or give you a better life? We can feel happy with little or unhappy with more, what would prefer?
There is nothing wrong with getting your goals in life, but often pushing the boundaries to get you want can defeat the object of what you want to achieve. This book will remind you that life is not all about what we have; only to remind you that life is how we feel.
The biggest advice I can give you is ‘Keep life Simple’ If you keep everything simple in your life, you will get to your destiny in life much quicker. Just by having the courage to let go in what you’re trying to engineer in life can give you the freedom and the space to get what you want to feel, not what you want.
We can prove this when we see more fancy houses, but far more broken homes. We have more medicine, but less health. We have more food, but less nutrition. We have more income, but fewer values. We are long in quantity, but not in quality. We’ve added years to life, not life to years. We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait. We have fast foods, but slow digestion.
This book will give you an insight why more is not the answer and hopefully it will give you the inspiration to find the inner strength to move forwards in life.
‘OFTEN IN LIFE, IT IS BETTER TO WANT WHAT YOU CAN’T HAVE, THAN HAVE WHAT YOU DON’T WANT’
This book is full of inspiring messages, little stories, quotations, poems which have a lot of wisdom that will help you to move forwards in life.
The book is in booklet format and has 40 pages. I really want to help people by putting their life back on track; therefore I’ve made this book very affordable at a cost of £4 (plus postage). This is not a profitable project, but proceeds are towards another project I’m doing by writing a book about ‘Putting Love into Perspective’
This book is littered with images that will help you get the message this book is trying to achieve.
Each page is touching on different aspects of life, so it has many subjects.
